Studying at Qazvin University of Medical Sciences
The foundation of the university was laid in 1984 through public participation and the efforts of an elected board of trustees, under the name University of Medical Sciences. In 1985 (1364), the university took its first educational step by admitting 75 students in the field of medicine through the national entrance examination. In 1991, following official decisions, it was promoted to the Qazvin University of Medical Sciences and Health Services.
At present, the university hosts 3,376 Iranian students and 70 international students pursuing their studies in various disciplines.

Qazvin University of Medical Sciences achieved a global ranking of 601–800 in the 2025 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
